This weekend, Neo-Western short film Two Graves was awarded by this year's festival jury a 'Highly Commended' award! Written and Directed by Autistic Filmmaker Carl Emmerson, which I produced with Mikey J. Watson, the film received its premiere screening at the festival held at Dendy Cinemas Canberra.

It’s been a massive journey to see this film with an audience for the first time!

Two Graves was shot in 2019, and went through the ordeals of Covid lockdowns and other projects extended out due to the pandemic, as just some of the things that stood in the way of getting this film finished.

But I’m just so proud of the finished film and what it means. Watching it on the big screen with a full cinema, I truely felt emotional as it drew into its final act for the final western stand off.

Carl's vision was always so defined and bold; “How far would a father go for his daughter?” But told as a western. And so it was always going to be about revenge, justice, and morality, highwaymen and cowboys.

I'm so grateful to the entire cast an crew who made the film possible.
